Play with the mau5 (Deadmau5 Mashup) Posted on: 24.10.2010 by Tori Koko I just posted my second Mashup. It is a combination of Techno and Pop I have used Ableton Live to wrap and cut the songs. And I added a couple of filters delays and a gater. Songs used: “Some Chords” (Deadmau5) “Turn the Beat Around” (Gloria Estafan) http://soundcloud.com/darius-b/play-with-the-mau5 I am quite pleased about the end result. But I am searching for some good compressors and a EQ to make it sound fatter a 1,27. All comment's are welcome. | |

Alexandra Nerby 03.11.2010 | I just checked it on a keyboard. Some Chords is most definitely G#m. If you want to mash them together in the way that you did, I would suggest using another song in G#m, otherwise it will just sounds off. I am not an Ableton user so I can't comment on warping to the correct key. I know though, that Some Chords is G#m. |

Tori Koko 26.10.2010 | Can I do that without havening the original or midi tracks? I have looked on YouTube and Google. Do you have a good tutorial or a good search? I have tried to use a online key board to check the key. Can I be that the song of DM5 is played in G# and does anyone know if there is a VST keyboard for Ableton with corresponding labels to the Camelot wheel? |

Adrien Hochstrasser 25.10.2010 | Trust me, they aren't in the same key. Can't always trust the computer reading. You play any musical instruments? |

Ling Zambada 24.10.2010 | IMO sounds kinda hectic :/ |
Adrien Hochstrasser 25.10.2010 | You need to fix it so both of the songs are in the same key. |
