Studio TWELVE - Live at the Saries HALLOWEEN 2010 Posted on: 09.11.2010 by Laurice Migneco http://soundcloud.com/darren-e-cowley/studio-twelve-live-at-the-saries-halloween-2010Hi All, I put this together for a charity evening on Halloween that raised nearly 1k for cystic fibrosis (it'd have topped the grand barrier if some lowlife hadn't nicked one of the collection tins!) Anyways it was a return for me to the pub that i took my community name from as it was the place of my first residency at the age of 18 that i held for 7 years until marriage came along and focus changed... Thankfully i've kept in touch with many of the regulars from back then and so i was fairly assured that a smattering of old skool with mashups of newer stuff they might not know as well would go down well.... I've now had a couple of booking out of it including a set at the loft at the Ministry of SOund for next year, oh and a queue of people wanting lessons on Ableton! Don't expect anything to serious, 20 minute transitions, long chugging grooves or epic journeys... This was about turning the sound system up and having a party!
