My first two mixes. Nothing special, just looking for advice! Posted on: 18.11.2010 by Lulu Hucko Ok, i put down two 1 hour mixes the last few days. The first one is rough, my recording method was pretty ghetto, and it recorded in MONO, so there is a beatles song that just doesnt have vocals sometimes (beatles did vocals in separate channels blah blah blah) so here it ishttp://soundcloud.com/the-last-rocke...teer-rough-mix This next one, is a bunch of random songs i threw together. I didnt do any pre planning, it was all off the cuff. This recording method is MUCH better (stereo 24 bit in audacity), i only "mess up" in my mind a few times. http://www.mixcloud.com/TheLastRocke...ress-test-mix/ So tell me what you believe, be cruel if you want to be. I've only been doing this for a bit, got a MIXDECK and just getting my skills together before we do shows for serious. | |
