Tad Neukomm 31.03.2011 | My tip for the short term - do stuff that you are really comfortable with and keep it on beat - I've been to so many battles were lots of people try to juggle - it wont suddenly sound better when you get on stage. If you dont win at least people will enjoy listening. If you want to get into battling properly then you need to practice hard. Technique is very, very important - but remember its only a means to an end, try to develop your own style and try to be original in how you apply what you do (a lot easier said than done! Heres some routines ive used in battles: my 4 chords, 3 needles routine from 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MxMOmU0Gc8 my juggle routines from 99: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or2Es...eature=related |

Bridget Liner 30.03.2011 | I'm sure I'll sound like a dick but... why did you enter a battle without knowing what to do? |
Random X 30.03.2011 | Yups, one of the better truths! |

Klara Swayngim 29.03.2011 | I would say do what your stronger at. But you can't just beat juggle alone or scratch alone. Find good instrumentals that allow you to beat juggle on the down beat and of course good samples to scratch on. I used to transform on a godzilla sample way back in the day. I love the instrumental of "Uptempo" by RUN DMC which is on the b side of "It's Tricky" or "122 BPM" by Jive Rythm Trax http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tuLDSfJTRg |
Random X 28.03.2011 | Use as many techniques as you can throw at 'em, but in a good styled fashion. Just go crate digging. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TpZJBL0k1Y |
Cleora Brell 27.03.2011 | do i scratch or just juggle?? |
