Now, what i mean is that i find the most useful Mixing videos that you can learn stuff from are the ones, where you see parts of the traktor screen!

Camera shots from different angles are pretty good to keep the mix interesting, too.

Well these videos you probably now since most of them appear in the Native Instruments Youtube Channel!

(Few links if you don't know what i mean:

http://www.youtube.com/user/NativeInstruments
But you ve probably seen most of them anyway)

So I believe its time to do some stuff like this on our own:
Actually i decided to bring up this because I already did one:

Enjoy feel yourself invited to post little mixes like that two!?!
Cheers!

@ bigheadmikelove

1: The sweet home alabama loop: I took it actually from a remix:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmhUXKZoDAY

So: No warping at all!

2: The vocals seem to be an acapella but they are actually from a (on the instrumental side) quiet part of the song:

That was beyond excellent, great to see more people do great things with Traktor, Really dig the cue juggling, If I may ask a few questions....
1) Did you have to warp the Sweet Home Alabama sample? I've had trouble getting it to 'work' in a loop (though I use Sync so that may be the problem)
2) Where did you come across the Heaven is a Skatepark Acapella (and really all of them)?

Thanks for sharing bud, again excellent stuff

Reply to the questions:
The screen capture programm is called ISHOWu hd something!
i used the demo version... and no it doesn't slow down my cpu considerably!
And: yes a lot of cropping and then stacking different screen shot parts over each other!
but i believe this way you can see how software and hardware work together.
I believe this is superrior to just having the full screenshot without any live cams..!!

puu long answer!

secondly: The controller that I used, well i built it myself out of a reloop digital Jockey!
A video about it should be easy to find in my youtube channel!

Thanks Guys! and hey feel free to ask questions on youtube in the comments!!

Moin

Nice vid, did you capture the screen with QT or some extra-program?
Mainly asking because of the CPU load. Only way around it would be to have a second PC run a VNC on the mac and capture on that one.

Requires some serious cropping afterwards I guess.
