Posted on: 24.06.2011 by Brook Denier Sounds like a stupid question, but I heard an 8B acapella laid over a 7A track and it sounded awesome. Do I just play it by ear, b/c I've always trusted the Camelot system, but in this case 8B should only sound good with 8A or 7B... | |

Nedra Fresneda 24.06.2011 | Depends on the way the mashup is laid really. Are melodic elements gonna coexist? What do your ears tell you? Does it sound better if you transpose one of the 2 pieces to the other key? Keep in mind key detection software isn't 100% accurate. It's always better to double check manually if the values given are correct or not. |
