Kontrol S4mk2 -- Reliable for gigging ?
Kontrol S4mk2 -- Reliable for gigging ? Posted on: 06.01.2014 by Heike Mumm So i've narrowed it down to the S4mk2 for smaller gigs where i dont wanna lug around my TA10/Xone/X1's and Maschine.I am used to NI gear, controller editor etc and am sure the S4 mk2 has tight integration with Traktor Pro, however i am new to the all-in-one game and have doubts about reliability as if one part fails, it all comes crashing down. Guys if u have gigged regularly with an S4 mk2 ( or other 4 chan controller ), please advise as i will soon drop hard earned cash on one..... Thanks faisal | |

| Ashanti Andreacchio 07.01.2014 | I have been playing almost every weekend over the last 3 years. First 2 with an VMS4 and the last with a DDJ SX and not once have I got any problems during those gigs. played some his only using a Z1 and X1 MKII. Have DJ friends that have been using S4 or S2 the MK 1 version and haven't heard any complains from them. We all are using MBP's so that might be a factor for not failing. |
