Martha Klepper 30.09.2011 | Thanks for the really great feedback, man. I appreciate the time you took to listen through a couple times! I'll keep your feedback in mind for the next one. |
Kenton Almeyda 29.09.2011 | I listened to your mix twice, once yesterday on my car stereo and today on the Klipschs with the subwoofer turned on. Here's my feedback. - I am not an expert on these musical styles, but I believe you transitioned between them throughout the course of the mix in a way that made sense. There were a few times where you went from vocal to vocal to vocal which can be a bit much for me. - I liked the stuff that wasn't quite dubstep but wasn't quite hardstyle ("hard dance"?) but was not too wild about the dubsteppy stuff. But it's current. - I appreciated the tracklist and download link, but would appreciate a tracklist in the DJTT post and timed tracklist in the mixcloud post. Thanks for the download link. - I am not sure that I heard too much very-obvious mixing, which is either good or bad. I feel like with heavier music like this, I want to hear the DJ working the EQ during overlapping sections more heavily. - Your levels seemed good and consistent throughout, even during overlap. Thanks for posting, and keep at it! |
