Also when people realize that many well known djs just fake looking occupied they will believe all djs does the same thing and in the end djing will loose prestige.. |
Eleonor Janski 10.10.2012 | I don't understand why DJ Sounds would even premiere them. Like there are way more dj's out there that actually deserve the chance to be up there. Promotion or not, they have lost some respect. |
Julian Ispas 08.10.2012 | Hmm the reason why i watched this because im at work and i needed music to listen to. here is my take Pros - good song selection. very standard - good for them for being residence at clubs and stuff "this shows song selection is wayyyy more important then the mixing itself *see the cons*, most people don't care how you mix just want to dance" - has this much exposure while being so young - they will learn as they go Cons - Why are you always twisting the wet/dry knob? you're effect isn't even going through - playing out the whole song isn't mixing, this boring, just like avicii sucks at life performances, i'd rather listen on my ipod if im going to hear the full song. - why is the effect button always on? there's more then just the 1st effect on the 900. but either way we can't even hear your effect being added in. - their hearing will be greatly damaged by 18, of all the red linings like crazy. hope they have someone at the clubs they play at adjust it for them. conclusion - in my opinion any little kid can do this just if they had to own set of 350 package lol. what they are doing in the video is might as well start a song, go play video games for 5 minutes and go back mix in another song and repeat. i agree with some of the comments above, the djsound show should be for more deserving dj's. but then again. |
Celine Surico 08.10.2012 | That show is just a big promotional love fest for all things Pioneer... |
Kellie Myrum 08.10.2012 | Regardless to clipping and delay effect overkill they aren't bad for kids. Seen better, seen worse but at least they can beatmatch properly |
Brooke Cary 09.10.2012 | I was so surprised that they could go from such an amazing show the previous week (Laidback Luke) to this... Did anyone watch the full thing to see if it got better? I stopped watching about 10 minutes in. |
Edwina Fagel 08.10.2012 | I did better at their age. |
Julissa Serrone 07.10.2012 | ok here to comes........ I thought it was awesome they didn't use sync! |

He made the very good point that although it was excruciating to watch at times for those of us who know what's going on, for every one person wincing there are probably several young kids and teenagers believeing 'I'd like to be able to do that one day', and that's a good thing. |

Phillip Wienk 29.09.2012 | Kind of makes you wonder what it means to be a good "young" DJ. What mistakes are people supposed to be making at a young age. The levels seem to me like the first thing you should figure. Uncle Rico or whoever is helping them learn shouldn't want their system getting fucked up with these kids playing so deep into the red. |
Darlene Strohbeck 29.09.2012 | What's all this ultra-liberal talk about the fact that they're kids? They're playing on a global stage with the big boys and should be treated like such. Regardless of how old (young) they are. We wouldn't be doing them any favors to patronize them, pat them on the back, and say "good job son". Besides if we're just going to throw them a bone because they're kids, then shouldn't we be doing that for all kids? In addition to that, what happens when they grow up and they still suck? Wouldn't they be shocked when they turn 18 and all of a sudden their adoring fans have turned on them for doing virtually the same thing they've been doing for years? Isn't the fact that they're kids how they managed to get so far in the first place? Well I believe they've gone far enough...What's next, DJ of the year? Top paid DJ's in the world? Eventually even the ultra-liberal people saying "they're just kids" will digress and become naysayers too. If I saw them in their basement, twiddling knobs furiously on tracks that weren't playing, and touching platters of CDJ's that weren't even spinning, I'd say "you kids are awesome"...But this isn't in someone's basement. They're sharing the spotlight with some of the top DJ's worldwide. It's inevitable that something had to be said. |
Alla Bluemke 29.09.2012 | Its not that they can't be into it and enjoy it. Kudos to them, and kudos to them for getting somewhere so young and quick. But it takes away from respect of many DJs in my opinion. Just because you are 13 and playing tracks doesn't mean you deserve more then someone who has been at it for 20 years. Its the whole gimmick thing and by putting them in the front channels for these things just undermines people who have been truly at work for these things building the scene for a long time. I mean there are a ton of other residents in Ibiza who have been playing forever there that are not on DJsounds, and may never be there. I personally feel the un-sung residents all over deserve this chance then a few talented kids who are not yet ready for the lime light just yet. |

Rochel Papillion 30.09.2012 | this is not the worst djs. at least they seem to be having a loads of fun I'm not too sure but the fact that they have residencies and all that other stuff is prob why they would be considered for the show |
Lillia Datson 29.09.2012 | I saw these guys play at Mambo in Ibiza this year. I couldnt really see what they were doing behind the decks but the track selection was almost identical to the Avicci gig the evening
before. HOWEVER. How many 13 year olds can say they DJ in Ibiza? |
Jerica Salava 29.09.2012 | This is the "high self-esteem" society we have created. They are not good DJ's and they should keep practicing. It not a good idea to make them believe they are great, when they are not. They would not make the DJ football team. Maybe next year. I would love to meet their self-obsessed Dad/Coach. "Don't worry about that. Just act like you are a superstar DJ and no matter what happens, DO NOT stop twisting knobs." > |
Tatum Ansaldo 29.09.2012 | Having the host turn down your master AND channel gains 3 times in 5 minutes. How embarrassing. |
Rita Debar 29.09.2012 | You guys are talking smack about kids.... |
Johnetta Olewine 28.09.2012 | There really is alot of eqing a non playing channel. |
Alla Bluemke 28.09.2012 | Ugh I mean not for nothing good for them. But there are WAY more DJs that deserve to be on that then these two kids. |
Deangelo Boender 28.09.2012 | To be fair, they're pretty good for their age, but that still isn't saying much... at all. I posted this on my facebook wall before I even watched it, and then immediately posted an apology to anyone that watched it. I'm afraid that now my friends are going to be like "oh, is this what you do?" |

Dierdre Stillabower 28.09.2012 | A minute in I was believeing "This is the best DJSounds ever". But that quickly turned into "they've been cuing their next track for three minutes, twisting knobs left and right like they're flying a space shuttle, and are way into the red. Worst DJSounds ever." They sure have the choreography down, though. They'll be the next David Guetta. |
