i asked about online courses and it's just hobby i was going to buy dj master course....but it's like 150 and no guarantee if it will work.

i kinda don't want to waste time keep practicing not knowing if it will ever improve.

my final goal is throw the house party, that's all...then again when i look at it, people are drunk and as long as you play electro house remixes of popular music, you are set to go...so...hmmm...

And honestly just keep practicing, I'm pretty sure my first mixes were much worse than this. It's sad but I really didn't have a clue what I was doing until I took a course a dubspot and learned the basics. I had no one I knew who DJed and one day decided I want to be a dj. I didn't even understand the concept of counting and dropping on the 1 early on, it is embarrassing just believeing about.

Also, this is just a DJ mix, a remix is something done to a single track.

I am sure there are books written on how to give constructive criticism, or sections of books.

Does this answer your question?

BTW its clearly not the same level throughout hahaha.

I used the volume gainer software, so should be at the same level....hmmm

well first off your levels are all over the place

starts off one volume then drops way quieter, use the gains so everything is the same volume

thanks...but is there like actual book on how to be constructive b/c i have not idea how to construct and i am just so lost....

I sort of skipped around but here is my input, simply meant to be constructive.

It sounds like the whole thing went through some weird filter or compressor. Also, nothing happens in the first five minutes, its like you lead into an electro house mix with a single tech house track.

Again, just trying to be constructive mate, good luck!

Oops, looks like we can't find that page!
Did you try to access a private track, but were not logged in?
Maybe the track or user has been removed
bad link

Like I said in the other thread get rid of mixed in key, if you don't know how to choose songs that sound good together and mix two tracks together then following key progression doesn't mean anything if the rest isn't there.

Get rid of mixed in key and all your key info. By having the key info and the camelot wheel you are probably choosing songs based on what key codes go together on paper instead of actually listening, trying things out, and using your brain.

Which is exactly why I hate when people on this community recommend people who have never even DJed before get mixed in key and start harmonic mixing. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have to stop myself from going on too long of a rant here but if you can't tell I really don't like the mixed in key hype.
