Trakor Pro 2.5 Remix Deck Loop Size Adjusting Problem

The issue im trying to fix is when im shorting a loop size while its playing on a remix deck if i dont shorten it at exactly the right time the marker will pass my created loop and play the rest of the sample, but when it plays the sample again the next time it plays the shortened loop. This was not a problem with the older sample decks. I just want to be able to create build ups with my remix decks. I have tried achieveing this by mapping it a few ways "slot size/2 and x 2" and "slot size adjust: Inc./Dec." and also tried mapping a sample retrigger command to my buttons that shorten the loop in hopes it would eliminate the timing problem but cant get any three ways to work any ideas how i can achieve this?
