Coming Home vs. Aerodynamic vs. Replica vs. Quazar Mashup Posted on: 15.02.2012 by Kati Khait http://soundcloud.com/charlesrobley/coming-home-vs-replica-vs-quazarMy second bootleg I've done on fl studios. It's getting a little easier to do once you know shortcuts and know exactly what you want to do. I give credit out to the original artists but also Romain G for making the bootleg that I based mine off of. I did a bunch of splicing of clips to make them a desired length and changed a lot, but I would still like to give him credit for inspiring me with his bootleg. Would be great if you could critique it and tell me what you like about certain things, or what you don't like so I can better my work in the future. Also, I'm not sure if the gain is consistent the whole way through as I had to do a bunch of adjusting to the point of it giving me a headache. And as for some trivia, the drop from replica to coming home was used in the movie Fast Five, hahaha. | |

Kati Khait 21.02.2012 | Thanks man, I just made it available for download for everyone to use if they want. Also pm me if you want that massive bass drop in the song, it's great as an effect for some transitions. But as a sub note: when I started dj'ing on my controller I was completely lost. I thought I would never be able to put out "good" mashups/mixes or anything and that I already ran out of ideas. But just recently in the past 2 or so weeks it's like I have certain clips running on loop in my subconscious thought at all times and my mind is putting them together as I listen to music. It's really great and I've never thought like this tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for the support over the past few months! |
Kesha Pietrak 15.02.2012 | nice mashup! And actually the original mashup was done by Swedish house mafia and Romain G made a reboot, as have many other people. Nice to see a mashup thats not like the rest |
