| Vernice Freland 31.07.2012 | Thanks for this feedback. Emery, You're right about the vocals. I'll try that for the next one, it would be good to use both vocals but switch between. I'll definitely try that. Patch, I'm a complete novice on ableton, having only used it for a 30 day trial. Do you know if the intro version is any good? I may get that just to experiment with mashups. |
| Geri Jarra 31.07.2012 | It's a good mix! but a good rule of thumb for mixing is not to have 2 sets of vocals going at once. very few occasions can it sound ok at best. May try to find a Praise You instrumental to layer with JayZ. When his verse is over, or halfway through you can drop the Praise You vocals as a chorus, then back into Jay Z. The last 40 seconds or so are pretty good even though the vocals overlap |
