Beats Fro The Rhymes (Hip Hop) Posted on: 25.02.2013 by Aleta Jevtic Honestly when I started this mix I didn't how it would turn out or where it go. Should I make a straight up mix of instrumentals or layer a bunch of beats together - multitrack style? Ultimately I decided to the let the beats speak for themselves. Similar to my True School Beatdown & The Producer's Journey series each volume in the Beats For The Rhymes series will feature fantastic Hip Hop joints by various artists. Unlike The Producer's Journey I didn't limit my selection of tunes to a set of producers for each volume. Instead, I let the feel and sound of Beats/Instrumentals dictate what songs should be included into each volume. Thus, many volumes may feature songs from the same producer. Really can anybody narrow down a mix of instrumentals featuring only one song of legendary producers like DJ Premier, Dr Dre, DJ Muggs, 9th Wonder, etc? Any how I hope you all enjoy the mix.
