Online Production, Long Distance Collaboration
Posted on: 30.03.2013 by Meagan Kovatch
I spent the better half of 2012 working every day on an album with a producer named Connor O'neil from Madison Wisconsin.
Since I live in Iowa, nearly all of our collaboration was done online using dropbox. Once we finished the album we started working on new stuff right away because, even though we had finally finished the album, we had no way of funding any of the promotional plans/ideas we had come up with.

I'm interested in getting feedback from the DJTT community on the album and I'd also appreciate any advice regarding long distance collaborations. Dropbox is great, but there has got to be better ways to collaborate long distance.

We released the album ("BounceKastle") for free on March 20, 2013 on our website, bubble-clap.com, but it crashed within a week because the bandwidth limit was exceed. I like to believe this was caused by way too many people downloading the album, but I have no idea. Anyway, we're hosting the album on Bandcamp until we get the site back up.

Thanks for the follow
I have no idea what our genre is and I don't believe Connor does either.

What genre would you call this music?
