My latest mixcloud mix - Tech House and Techno... Posted on: 24.06.2013 by Tamela Batara Quickfire indeed. It was a while between the last two cloudcasts as I was at work. But here we are, 2 within 2 days. My last few mixes were vinyl only affairs, and while I loved them, I had gotten my hands on a few newer tunes I wanted to play. So I went through my June folder, and picked some tracks at random, as always. Played on a pair of 1210's, utilising Traktor Scratch Pro 2 DVS and Allen And Heath Xone DB4 mixer. Some nice progression here though, so starts sort of Techy, and progresses into proper Techno. Lovely. This is where my head currently sits. Love these sounds.
