EGE vs normal 400: different jog wheel LEDs?
EGE vs normal 400: different jog wheel LEDs? Posted on: 25.04.2012 by robin loo hey guys. just to reassure: i noticed that i have a different jog wheel response on my EGE than on a normal 400. EGE: when not touched red, when touched blinking red normal: when not touched blue, when touched red just tested this with traktor off, but i've seen videos (the scratch one for example) where the normal 400 has blue leds when not pressed, just like the vci100 has.. is this changeable somehow via midi? or is there only a red LED inside the EGE? cheers edit: seems to be normal: normal vci400: blue/red http://youtu.be/30f7H87OPXw?t=2m55s EGE: red/red blinking http://youtu.be/2AeX3qZqj7M?t=14m48s is this just in the mapping? | |

Ethel Saracco 25.04.2012 | The jog wheel LEDs on the EGE change to blue when you slide the switches on the front to the other two layers. The LEDs are blue in loop and cues mode and red in jog fx mode. I believe this is part of the custom EGE firmware. |

Tanya Homeister 25.04.2012 | EGE firmware does it, Changeable by deck mode switch but not mapping... |
