Clean my mac
Clean my mac Posted on: 02.01.2013 by Yevette Matatall Ive got a new mac book and giving my old 13" unibody to a friend. I want to clean it so all my garbage is gone save for a few programs he might use. What the best way to clean the mac and getting it operating as best as possible. Ive read about and app called "clean my mac" any other suggestions. | |

Geri Jarra 03.01.2013 | whats shift + Alt +P + R ? |
Marybelle Parden 02.01.2013 | I would suggest you get 'DaisyDisk' It shows you everything on on the computer in a nice 'daisy-like' diagram. All you need to do is delete everything except for the programs you want, then open to Disk Utility and click 'Verify Permissions' once that is done, click 'Repair permissions' and that's it! Also, reboot the computer, and before you get to the grey loading screen quickly hold down ' shift + alt + p + r '. Hope that helps! |
Nedra Fresneda 02.01.2013 | In that case, nothing beats a clean install. |
Kandi Odom 02.01.2013 | My advice is set a new user as a DJ/Producing only user and shut every running app that you dont need!! |
