I used Traktor DJ Studio 2 until late 2006 - was much more stable than v3 for a loooong time - it almost certainly would support the Midi Fighter. Should be quite easy to write a mapping for it.

you probably mean 10.6 (snow leopard), which costs something like $40. And the new 10.7 (Lion) is coming out in summer.

well yes in theory, but as I say you'd have to map it yourself since everything before Traktor Pro used a different kind of settings file.

Well I assume the only way you could get hold of that would be to torrent it, and we don't support torrented software.

I suggest you try mixxx or the free version of Virtual DJ.

If he is a beginner i believe he would mean traktor pro 2 because i don't know where he would get studio 2, but there is always the possibility

Traktor DJ studio 2 (assuming you don't mean Traktor Pro 2) is pretty old but it did accept midi input so the midifighter would work. You would have to make your own mapping though.
