What do you use ur MF for? Posted on: 04.07.2011 by Maryalice Zwahlen Mates, got my MidiFighter recently, going wild, loving the thing to bits. Nevertheless apart from me just being crazy about gear Im nt sure yet what to use it for exactly. Wanted to find out what you guys mainly do with it. Do you use ur MF as a full controller instead of a e.g. VCI 100, do you use it in addition to a VCI 100 and have one MF for every deck just to go wild on effects... what is it that u use it for? | |

Maryalice Zwahlen 05.07.2011 | Quite interesting what you guys do with ur battle-machines, awesome and quite different after all hey. @DJ barneyb which VCI are u using MK2 or original? if original, how good is it? is everyone right sayin it is until today the best controller of that kind that has been released? |
Dede Strelka 05.07.2011 | Midifighter running IG mapping for 4 decks. whilst VCI-100 controls 2 decks and all sample decks. Although last week my mate spilt a beer on my vci while at a gig. everything went crazy, so had to map the MF "channel C" for transport on the fly while another DJ played off ableton. All good fun Just in the process of cleaning my line faders out now lol |

Ella Rick 05.07.2011 | I use 2x MidiFighter with deckalized mapping to control decks A and B in TSP2 in external mixing mode with a Xone 92. |

Sammie Okeeffe 05.07.2011 | no really... the deckalized mapping has everything you need to beatmix. Instead of slowing or speeding up a cd or vinyl you are pushing the shift +/- buttons on the midifighters. On you just use cue points and load points to find your place in a tune. Another bonus is the space you take up is very small. |
