DB:4 / K2 people please help. Posted on: 05.01.2013 by Vickey Fransway Well, I was bitten by the DB:4 bug, but this bug seems more like a disease.Short history, I ordered it just before Christmas, got a unit drop shipped from AM&S and it was defective. With Christmas, Snow Storms and New Years I finally received my replacement unit yesterday. Everything seemed ok until today when I tried to connect my K2. Initially I planned only to MIDI map it, but I wasn't getting any MIDI signals using XLINK so I tried to pair it with the mixer and I get no pairing option. I can see and use the K2 via USB, I have updated both units firmware to v2, I have tested the XLINK cable for continuity and to verify no cross pairs and tried a different cable just in case. Can anyone believe of something that could be wrong here? Is A&H/XONE really this bad with build quality that I could get 2 brand new mixers direct from AM&S and both be defective right out of the box? If so I question keeping this mixer. XpoZur | |
