MidiFighter Pro for scratching.
Posted on: 26.10.2011 by Len Lukawski
Chaps,

I am in the process of picking up a MidiFighter Pro. Right now it looks like I will be going for the Beatmasher version. Has anyone used these faders for scratching? I am currently using the s4 fader but would like the option to try something different. I am also believeing that if the fader is suitable, I can set up some of the buttons to allow me to quickly change the resolution of the fader on the fly which might be interesting.

I really want to hear from people who have the MF pro and who are using it to scratch with (or who have at least tried) but i'd welcome input from any MFP Pro users!

Cheers.

Good to hear its smooth and free! I'm waiting for my MF Pro to potentially land this week!! I just assumed that'll have stiff/ish fades, kinda ones you find on a VCI 100, but if there free flowing fades I'll be sure to post a vid of me putting the midi fighter thru serious skratch test.

Would love to see it in action. I also contacted Audio Innovate to see if they have put an innobender in a midifighter pro yet...
I'm not that good at scratching actually, an with the VCI-300 adapter it would work for shure

They are pretty loose - obviously I wouldn't compare them to a nice cross fader in feel and there is no lag adjustment but they ride smooth and light

Sounds a bit like the xx fader midi fighter pro that disappeared. That looked like an awesome bit of kit!

I understand it's possible but I would like to get some feedback on the faders for scratching...
