As the title says, I need one of the following bits of information for the midifighter to be able to sucessfully define it in VDJ, I need either

SysEx id - system exclusive id
VID - vendor id
PID - product id
driver name

to get the sysex id you need to send this to it
F0 7E 7F 06 01 F7

using miditrace
(clicking that link will download a program created by atomix productions)

to get the vid and pid on a win 7 pc, go into
control panel --> devices --> right click the midi fighter --> properties --> hardware tab --> properties --> details tab --> in the drop down menu select "hardware id's"

my istage says this, If anyone can get it please paste it in here
USB\VID_1D03&PID_002F&REV_0100&MI_00

This depends on the product. pid for midifighter classic is 0001, beatmasher is 0002, cuemaster is 0003 and superknob is 0004.

No idea. Should say in device manager.

This should work on the latest firmware.

Are you saying this didn't work, or why are you asking this question?

Ah makes sense. No problem! FYI: the values I listed are hexadecimal.

I have put together a mapper for a member of the vdj community for the midifighter, but he is taking far to long to reply with the things I need to finish the definition file that vdj uses to recognise the device...

I don't have a midifighter to get the SysEx, vid or pid unfortunately, but this will help a lot thanks for your time.
