MIDI Fighter replacement light tubes?
MIDI Fighter replacement light tubes? Posted on: 27.09.2010 by Jone Andres Does anyone know of a way to order replacement light tubes for the MIDI Fighter? One of mine somehow broke and fell out (maybe I hit a button too hard? I dunno) and so the light for that button is inconsistent with the rest. Any ideas? | |

Adolf Hit 10.01.2012 | Hey Bryan, The screws are just 8mm CSK M3 hex screws in black, any M3 counter sunk screw should work fine (as long as is between 7 mm and 15 mm) The standoffs (metal shafts) are discontinued are we are now working on a new supplier, hence I cant help you there. |
Florene Domeyer 09.01.2012 | cool, could I get the part numbers for the the bottom and top screws and spacers. I took a midifighter apart to change a top and lost a small screw, but I wanted to just buy a few spare parts from the mouser website just in case. I have to order some led tubes anyway. My midifighter has been disassembled for about a year, and I kind of want to start using it again. |
Adolf Hit 06.04.2011 | Mouser just has an issue with getting the data right when adding products the LMC100CTP is the correct light pipe for what we use. We dont do individual parts as spares - but if you ever need anything just ask and I can give you part numbers for mouser. Thanks for sorting that Photojojo! |
Leeanna Ayla 05.04.2011 | Upon further examination (and after a few cups of coffee) I discovered it was relatively easy to slide one out. And you are correct, they are 1.003" long. Correct length http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...qLGXuDCuaqY%3d |
Tatum Ansaldo 05.04.2011 | Ah! I knew it was light pipes but i didn't believe to add LED, my google search came up with nothing but those mirror tubes you put in your roof to let sunlight in I have a feeling they're longer than 0.8" but I may be wrong. |
Leeanna Ayla 05.04.2011 | Okay they are more specific than just acrylic tubing and they're called LED light pipes. I believe these are the ones DJTT use. Mine have an OD of 2.5 mm, but it's hard to measure the length without pulling the MF apart. I'm pretty sure they're 0.8" long though. EDIT: they are 1" long. I've edited this link to the correct one. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...qLGXuDCuaqY%3d |
Hunter Renslow 05.04.2011 | +1 need a spare one! |

Random X 04.04.2011 | I believe there's a reason, otherwise they'd sent it out already. |
Tatum Ansaldo 04.04.2011 | I'm surprised they wouldn't send one out for the price of the shipping. The customer service is normally very good! |
Leeanna Ayla 04.04.2011 | DJTT said they didn't sell spare parts? It's just plexiglass tubing, I would check the local hardware store or hobby shop. |
Florene Domeyer 03.04.2011 | i have the same problem, and have more than 1 midifighter top. Any one know where we can order them? I tried contacting these guys but they said they dont sell spare parts. |
