SL1 serato box HUGE

wow, it's been YEARS since I have seen or even used a serato box and I forgot how HUGE the box is... it is so much easier to have a mixer with a built in interface... the external interfaces and extra cables are a pain

I use traktor so this isn't really an issue...BUT... I do have serato downloaded on my computer (FREE DOWNLOAD)...and I still setup crates, cue points, and build overviews just in case I have to use serato for a gig... but most the time if that's the case the serato box is already at the venue...if not I just borrow from a buddy of mine

My dilemma on deciding on either is portability. Totally agree the box is a pain and having it integrated is much less hassle....but what about when there's no SSL mixer available? Then you need the box...so might as while have the box regardless?

SL2 is much smaller, sl1 is so big because of the mic input
