Midi Fighter 3D Firmware Update stuck at 40%
Midi Fighter 3D Firmware Update stuck at 40% Posted on: 17.10.2012 by Yadira Taveras I just recently bought a Midi Fighter 3D and I have been getting very frustrated with the firmware update because it gets stuck at 40%. The software downloads the latest .HEX file just fine but gets caught when trying to put the controller into bootloader mode. I'm on a PC and I've done a bit of digging around the device manager. I followed the instructions to properly install the driver and everything. The device now says it has a working driver but the MF Utility keeps getting stuck at 40%. Does anybody else have this problem or a fix for it? | |

Adolf Hit 04.12.2012 | Hey All, The Midi Fighter Utility does not currently support firmware update via Windows 8. I expect to release an update to fix this in the new year, once we have the required code signing certificate. For those people having issues flashing the firmware, and getting stuck at 40% please check your firewall settings, most of the time this is caused by the firewall blocking the application. |
Dinorah Breeding 26.11.2012 | Update: I just flashed the firmware using my Macbook |

Manuel Rima 24.11.2012 | I'm having this problem too |
Yadira Taveras 18.10.2012 | I gave that a shot and it didn't fix the problem. hmmmm |
Tomiko Schellenberger 18.10.2012 | I had the same problem, a reinstall of the software fixed it for me. |
