Rosario Whitington 06.01.2013 | As the title says. Can you use these in-ear headphones for djing? |
Rosario Whitington 08.01.2013 | How's the comfort on the shires e2/3 or se215? Are they nice to wear or do they keep falling out? |
Danae Dumler 08.01.2013 | Yeah I have some older Shures (E2 or E3 I believe) and I love them. They're great for the plane or other situations when I want to block the world out. But I tend to be a headphone guy in the club; I've djd with the Shures before and they are fine but it's annoying to pull them in and out to talk to people or hear what the house sounds like. |
Rosario Whitington 07.01.2013 | Thats a pair I'm going to look at! Hows the isolation and comfort? |
Hang Postman 06.01.2013 | I'm using the shure se215s and they are fantastic and not to expensive either |
Rosario Whitington 06.01.2013 | yeah they do! but the taxes aren't included and they are just too high in my country;( |
Tatum Ansaldo 06.01.2013 | DJTT do pretty good prices on international shipping these days. |
Rosario Whitington 06.01.2013 | the um-1s looks good, but they don't sell them in my country and the um-2s are to expensive. But I guess I will read a few reviews on the um-1s and then see if I can get a pair off ebay |
Tatum Ansaldo 06.01.2013 | DJTT sell the westone UM1s and UM2s, the number stands for the number of drivers in each monitor and therefore the higher it is the better the clarity. I can't speak for the 1s or 2s as I've never tried them, but I have the UM3s and they're the bomb. I know the lower models also get good reviews, as do various shure models. |
Dione Haimes 06.01.2013 | Theres IEM's in the DJTT store that have been tried and tested, On my phone atm or id get the name of em, theres been a few threads on them though, use search. |
Rosario Whitington 06.01.2013 | Thanks for the reply, Got any other in-ears to recommend? preferably cheap, even though I know you get what you pay for. |
Danae Dumler 06.01.2013 | You can use any headphones for DJing. In-ears tend to work for some people and not for others; they offer the advantage of isolation and of being able to protect your ears if you keep the volume reasonable. But the disadvantage of disconnecting you from the crowd, as well as the annoyance of having crap in your ears if that bothers you. As for the Bose, they would not be my choice but I have also never heard them. You want something with clear and tight bass response if possible. |
