Did I miss the speculation train?

What do you believe it will be?

Personally I'm hoping For an RGB LED model like the 3D, only without the ridiculous "motion controls", and with some proper knobs faders and buttons like the pro series.

That's a solid point actually.... We wouldn't have predicted the 3D, because motion controls are gimmicky and minimally useful, and pressure-sensitive arcade buttons would also be gimmicky and minimally useful. You might be on to something.
Unless its for ableton and Mad Zachs sound packs. I have no clue now im just diving too deep in something that most likely wont happen haha. But if its just RGB leds and they sell it for an over the top price imma be disappointed.

Nice. Can't wait to see what's coming out. I have a MF Classic but skipped over the MF3D as I didn't want/need the 3D functionality. Everything else was good...I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. Now, depending on what this new controller can do, I may be tempted!

I believe a slimline controller packed with features (similar to an x1 and x2) would be sweet. It could help them target the niche they helped create. Those bedroom, button-mashing beasts ready to showcase their skills in the outside world. In my mind, DJTT has already set itself far ahead of the game in terms of intuitive hardware thats easily controlled with your hands. This could be a way to showcase that while giving their target market a piece of kit thats small and portable. Some of those DJs would be able to branch out to play with new gear with the added confidence of something like this.

Or.... a new batch of die cut stickers?!?

lol, wouldn't suprise me smitten, I heard it was a magic wand type thing you wave in one hand whilst altering dry/wet with wearable midi sideburns...

Your speculation is as good as ours (mod crew).

Traktors where its at.
Midi fighter pro size would be nice. I like the beatmasher orientation next to controllers because the length sits nice and flush and isn't a little box. Whatever it is if its useful itl be on order for me.

They'll probably launch it in the next couple weeks for Christmas. And I bet it'll be like $175, non-customizable.

I'd really like it if they'd incorporate some more controls on there though. I'd buy three of them if they'd just put one more row of buttons, so you could use the kill controls of the remix decks without sacrificing your bank switches, or so that you could have all 8 cue points for two decks, plus a cue and play button.

Plus come on, the ableton nerds wouldn't exactly complain about more more row of triggers.

Shame that they're going to be honest, kind of feels like part of the DIY-spirit is being discontinued.

I would be down with a Launchpad-esque MIDI Fighter, something with an 8x8 grid of arcade buttons and some extra bells and whistles.

I'd also like to see some kind of revised MIDI Fighter Pro. I LOVE the super faders on my Beat Masher. I'd like to see more of these on more controllers.

This was my thought immediately when I saw that "..something new..." was coming. I want the RGB of MF3D, but don't really have a need for the motion controls. Don't ever see myself using the motion controls at all, but the RGB feedback and remix deck integration is very nice. At the sale price, the MF Classic still has some appeal: to me, it makes a lot of sense as an Ableton Drum Rack controller (I don't need velocity-sensitive pads for what I do...).

Well nah, the idea is that it would have knobs + faders instead of silly motion controls that require you to pick up the device.

The mixer idea is obviously not going to happen for a great many reasons... But within this context, they're releasing something in the place of the MF classic, they wouldn't release a mixer instead.

The most likely case is that they're just releasing a MF with RGB LEDs, but no motion controls or side buttons.

Makes sense if they use same analogs to wire faders/knobs instead of motion sensors.

I would also love to see a mixer. Perhaps an actual hardware mixer would be too difficult, but a midi mixer like the upcoming Behringer CMD MM-1 would be feasible? I believe it also really makes sense since many people who buy Midi Fighters probably have modular setups and would benefit from having a portable mixer to go with their modular controllers.

I agree. Hell, a full DJTT setup would be awesome ! But sadly the company is in no position to make a mixer.

Yeah, real sad. I was believeing of getting one for so long. Now I just might as well get maschine, because velocity sensitive pads and so much more + the maschine software + free massive

I'd love to see DJTT's take on the X1. (or an other "add to your mixer modular controller")
But I'm sure that won't be it.
