Click the traktor logo in the top left corner and see what your version is. It should come up with a window that says version 2.6.0 or whatever.
Have you tried using the Filter LFO and Filter 92 LFO effects in advanced mode? They're both autofilters.
thanks for the explanation!!! that pretty much what i was asking ...and i do have 2.6...i havent tried using them like that but i will now |

Yes, that's what a filter LFO (low-frequency oscillation) is. An auto-sweeping filter. |

Noooooo... we are not talking about the mixer. There are filters built into the Traktor software. In previous versions, there was the "Ladder" filter which emulates the Pioneer DJM-800 filters... and there was a "Xone" filter which emulates the Xone mixers filter. The new "Z" option emulates the filter on the new Z2 mixer. All 3 filter options are built into the Traktor software and can be mapped to the controller of your choice. |

Cutting frequency yes, but applying resonance gives more space and flavor to sound. |

Agreed, although I would have liked it better if it killed (almost) all frequencies at 100%. |

Lauretta Ehrhorn 29.12.2012 | Most analogue filters have a resonance control. I don't use Traktor's filters personally as they're a poor substitute. I use this http://www.vintagesynth.com/misc/electrixfilter.php and the filters on my A&H mixer. |
