Can I lock an X1 to one specific deck.
Can I lock an X1 to one specific deck. Posted on: 18.01.2013 by Frieda Swoboda Currently I use an APC40 to run Traktor and an F1 for one remix deck.Basically I want to add an x1 to just control the last deck. Is it possible to lock it to that one deck. So I need the x1 to stay on deck 4 all the time and only control that. It can't be via deck focus, because that makes my mapping a little weird. So it just has to control deck D but the focus needs to stay on A for the rest of my setup to work. | |

Kellie Myrum 18.01.2013 | It's possible. Just assign all commands for deck D and you're good to go. |
Tera Baragan 18.01.2013 | You have to map out your x1 so your the buttons you want working on deck a will work on deck a and what you want on deck d to be deck d. |
Frieda Swoboda 18.01.2013 | I guess I don't want the x1 to have any specific mapping, just to do what it does but only deck d. Is that possible while keeping the deck focus on A at all times. Sort of like the F1 controls the remix decks. |
Rosario Whitington 18.01.2013 | Midi mapping is your friend m8;-) Everything is possible when you can map it. If you don't know how it works, I will bet there's enough nice guys on the DJTT community to help you out! But then you need to be more specific on what wishes you have for the mapping. |
