Rosina Steinkuehler 23.01.2013 | Don't get me wrong - I would love a full blown version of Traktor on iPad. Let's hope its been battle tested prior to release! |
Bertie Metro 23.01.2013 | I have to say GeekGod that i personally hope they have been working on it for quite some time now (so is serato i'm sure by the way). They would be mad not to, i mean it's not like the tablets haven't been growing to be so versatile and powerful. I'm just pretty sure they are waiting on the competition to see who will show his guns first, and then try and woo us towards their software (which i'd gladldy do if there is time code control, i'd even buy an ipad for that actually). |
Rosina Steinkuehler 23.01.2013 | I cannot imagine NI implemented a full Traktor in this time unless they have secretly been working on it for a LONG while. Just believe of how many bugs we have to deal with on each point release of the full blown Traktor. My guess is a simple playlist editor and beat gridding companion app. |

Oretha Afful 24.01.2013 | hopefully it's a full traktor Ipad app that i can use with cdj2000s and HID. Browser and full sized waveforms. and just plug and play in the CDJs usb. Is that too much to ask? |

Lilliana Perris 23.01.2013 | WHAAAT!?!? No ways! HAHAHAHA....Floating Speakers? Fucking epic!!!! |
Bunny Sockel 22.01.2013 | Hawtin is using an ipad in this video. He could be using the new NI app either that or touch osc |

Pam Stolley 22.01.2013 | I've tried DJ Player and that app is pretty comprehensive. NI would need to do something special with this to beat them. The one place they could easily beat DJP is the effects. DJP has a really nice touch interface for effects but you have to switch screens from the mixer to use it. Makes it hard to use effects/loops for like 2 or 3 secs. |
Ressie Losiewicz 22.01.2013 | It's obviously a iPad specific version of Traktor Pro, iTraktor. I bet it'll come with some sort of method to plug it straight into a S2 or S4. |
Ranae Selck 22.01.2013 | Although the fact that Hawtin is chilling on a deck and doesn't have his laptop around may suggest that whatever it is, is self contained to the app |
Joesph Kasian 22.01.2013 | mmmmmmmm now this I'm excited about. |
Pierre Aliseo 22.01.2013 | How about a full browser so you can always keep focus on the Decks? Something to supplement live traktor performances would be awesome... |
Nedra Fresneda 22.01.2013 | It is quite possible but Traktor's UI needs a revamp to be touch friendly. |
Ranae Selck 22.01.2013 | It's possible that it is a traktor touch layout similar to touchosc, or even an app to control the remix decks? |
Ulysses Vittetoe 22.01.2013 | I'm kind of stumped as to what it will be. Hopefully not just beatgrid prep... |
Joselyn Supina 22.01.2013 | Doesn't matter what it is, it'll be on my ipad. |
Johnsie Kingrea 22.01.2013 | Scratch that it's obviously traktor related since it was posted in the traktor page |
Johnsie Kingrea 22.01.2013 | I knew they'd drop something before NAMM. I know people have been all about managing cue points and what not through their iphone/ipad I feel like it'd be a pain. Unless its as fast as doing it on the computer I don't believe it'd be worth it. Not to mention having to constantly swap music back and forth between your computer and the ipad. I use iTunes Match for all my music now so I rarely ever plug my ipad into the computer. Maybe it's a crazy mapping for all their synths haha |
Valery Ellick 22.01.2013 | I'd be happy with just being able to prep/grid tracks on my iPad. |
