Hertha Fang 26.02.2009 | I too am looking for some 1200's, tt's or maybe a pdx-2k. Too broke to buy them and the new sound card I will need for tspro, hoping that they will be fun to mix with. |
Adolf Hit 26.02.2009 | At Bentos suggestion Im going to try running my decks into trakotr, no dvs, but saves buying a mixer for now. |
Alex Mayer 25.02.2009 | Ya, it's fun to dig thru the crates and implement some older tracks into a set. I don't like playing a whole set on my TTs, though; mainly becuz i get tired of all my old records too fast. ..and, depending on the condition, that's a steal for the 'quipment. even so, ' wish i had money to blow like that... Dont have kids until you've made it! |
Claud Balkum 25.02.2009 | Ah dude I totally understand you I have turntables too |
Mechelle Duncil 25.02.2009 | Go for it earl! You will be a dj master once you know how to spin on, laptop tts and cds. You can have your digital setup for deck A and B and throw some records on deck c using TP and the audio 8. You will have the time of your life! |

Jerica Bonarrigo 25.02.2009 | i love having the option to play vinyl. as awesome as digital is, sometimes its just better going old school. and makes you a better dj i believe..... helps to practice your beat matching without having all those visual aids. as far as turntables though, i know stanton makes some decent/decently priced decks that could go with your korg mixer but then agan, i still wish i had a pair of technics.. |
DiscJoker aka GP 24.02.2009 | dude i fuckin feel you i was so close all i needed next was needles but mixer fried, so back to looking for another mixer, i am really into turntabalism, so scratching and beat juggling is what i want to do on the tt's, i love my digital stuff will use it forever but in the room just chillin i would love to kick it on the decks with some good ol underground hip hop. |
Marshall Aby 24.02.2009 | I like spinning vinyl as well but mnml is just perfect for programs like Traktor. Mind you, I've got Traktor Scratch so I can kind of do a bit of both: digital bit-mash and vinyl tactility. Mmmmmm |
Cristian Carmona 24.02.2009 | some round things made of dead dinosars and earths poop |

Adolf Hit 24.02.2009 | I just brought some 1200's in the weekend, carts must be crazy exspensive down these ways, asides from crap cheapest Shures I can find in nz are 370, which is about 190 USD. Though that is carts, sytlii, and plates (integrated into the carts) Looking forwards to upping my vinyl skills! |
Lawana Mileto 24.02.2009 | man i cant wait to get my own place so i can set up my decks n that... nothing beats mixing with vinyl, love it. cartridges are'nt that expensive really for a good pair maybe 60 quid, tho its been a while since ive bought any. safe... |
Virginia Ortiz 24.02.2009 | interesting thanks jesC. first, i shall investigate further |
Cristian Carmona 24.02.2009 | wtf! that alot! I use the statons 35c and I got them for 27 bux/each @ GC. Hit me up if you want me to get you some and ill send them to the little big island. |
Virginia Ortiz 24.02.2009 | hm thats not so bad, i heard for new ones its like $300 here for the cheapest kind |

Matt Kane 24.02.2009 | yeah i believe it |
Cristian Carmona 24.02.2009 | thats a deal, go for it! |
Matt Kane 24.02.2009 | the mixer would be 350-400 euros and i could get the tt |
Cristian Carmona 24.02.2009 | Setup sounds nice, but keep in mind that you going to dump over $1k in the setup. What kind of contoller could you get for 1k? I would buy a usb turntable to xfer the vinyl to mp3 and call it a day. |
