4 CDJs with Traktor?
4 CDJs with Traktor? Posted on: 15.02.2012 by Grazyna Deily How, or is it even, possible to connect 4 cdjs and a mixer to your laptop using Traktor? I've seen it done with 2 but cannot remember ever seeing 4. | |

Also the logistics of hooking up 4 timecode decks in a club is just silly especially when you will probably never use them. |

Patty Mcgilbra 16.03.2012 | can the audio 8 actually support 4 time code decks? Pretty sure mine only has ins for 2 timecode decks but I'm not at home to check |

There are only a very small handful of DJs who pull off 4 deck mixing at all that doesn't sound like crap and they all either use traktor and sync or use straight CDJs. |

Dione Haimes 14.03.2012 | Yes, HID works with 4xCDJ2ks and traktor. |

Alla Bluemke 13.03.2012 | You should be able to do it in HID mode cause you can select Decks A-D in the scroll on CDJ 2000s I believe. Just gotta aggregate all the sound cards. For sure with timecode and an audio 8 or 10. |

Basil Forshee 13.03.2012 | I own a Kontrol X1, so I don't get in that position. Like I said before, just go for a controller. I don't care about BPM, since I just adjust that with the X1 or manually in Traktor. Phase Meter is perfectly on the X1 . |

Grazyna Deily 13.03.2012 | will i be able to control bpms of the track so I'm not stuck manually beatmatching i could get through a set doing it but would rather have the assist of the bpms on the traktor display and match them. |
Jody Goman 19.02.2012 | definitely possible...Either with timecodes or in HID mode... I know for a fact that you can run 2 cdjs without a soundcard in traktor in HID mode aggregated, not positive on the 4 though. Cant see why not. Going to need a NI Audio 8 or 10 to run with timecodes... |
Grazyna Deily 16.02.2012 | thanks |
Lisa Lochotzki 15.02.2012 | assuming you're using timecode... it is possible with the proper soundcard... Audio 8 or Audio 10. In HID, can't tell, I would say yes. |
