Timecode problem on new MBP
Timecode problem on new MBP Posted on: 29.07.2012 by Stanley Peckman Having a spot of bother with TSP 2.5 & 2.51 on the Macbook Pro (OSX 10.7.4) , I'm using Scratch Vinyl II and the system is calibrating fine with 1210's however I'm getting the timecode signal amplified over the Input Channel 'D' on the Kontrol S4 as soon as I drop the needle. The other input is 100% OK so I have one deck with timecode buzzing over the speakers and one thats works properly.I've swapped over the inputs from the decks back and forth and the noise amplification transfers to the other 1210 which is proving the wiring is OK from the 1210's to the S4. Now for the annoying bit, I hooked up my Windows 7 Dell as a cross reference and the timecode signal does not amplify & it all works properly. Next step was to go through the settings to see what is different; the only real difference is in Audio Setup.
DO I need to reload the S4 driver? Any ideas? This is driving me mad, all the wiring and calibration is correct, switches etc are all in the right setting. It's the new MBP that seems to be the issue Thanks in advance | |

Stanley Peckman 29.07.2012 | Seems to have fixed itself after re-running the set up wizard. No need to reply but I'll leave the thread up incase anyone else ever has the same problem & finds this on search. |
