Numark iDJ Pro Advert (AKA: How not to DJ)
Posted on: 02.02.2013 by Doreen Schurle

In another thread, someone mentioned owning an iDJ Pro, and I figured it was some sort of iPad dock, so I thought I'd have a look at one on YouTube... I discovered the best example of how NOT to DJ (specifically, how not to use filters and effects) ever.

1:30 specifically cracks me up.

What's funny is the vocal at 1:15 "will it be ok? will it BE OK ???" ... NO it won't.
It was ok until 1:20. It actually looks fun. I like the rotary faders and the portability factor. The combo of the touchscreen and the knob effects is sweet.

You know it wasn't too bad until they started using effects at 1:30 and then it went form viable club use to absolute toy.
