Sync & Phase
Sync & Phase Posted on: 29.12.2010 by Daisy Dotseth I know the answer will be RTFM but i don't have TFM with me I understand that the Sync and phase has been separated in S4 however after reading the NI community i'm still a little confused so i thought i would try for some clarification. Essentially i want to be able to scratch a bit and then hit a hotcue and be back on without having to readjust phase using the jog. I have also noticed that even with decks synced sometimes if i jump around or refire hotcues the phase will go out and needs to be manually adjusted. I read this on the NI community : "...net effect is that you can lock your decks BPM on to the master clock source, (either Master Clock or assign a deck as the Master) and sync other decks BPM and optionally Phase sync to the master source." Is enabling the 'optionally phase sync' bit a setting somewhere? Any way to get it to behave like it did in pro? <duck> | |

Leeanna Ayla 29.12.2010 | I may be wrong as I don't scratch and almost never get out of phase so I haven't really paid a whole lot of attention to it. |
Daisy Dotseth 29.12.2010 | Doh! Was hoping my understanding was wrong photojojo but yeah thats the kicker. I guess I will have to just grow another finger |
