How do you like the LC-1 for cue points? Do the smaller buttons make it uncomfortable?
Hey thanks for the feedback. I agree the guitar was a bit loud, tone wasn't great, and a couple notes were out of tune. Oh well, that's what I get for not picking up a guitar in a few months.

The LC-1's buttons are fine for launching cue points, but obviously depends on how fast you're doing things. I wouldn't use them for cue point juggling (would prefer larger pads or arcade buttons), but if you're just doing something similar to what I'm doing in the video, then it's fine.

Cool vid

Then let's say I was in the future, and used the time jump to go back in time to post the video??

Yeah that makes more sense........

Nice vid! I'm not that good at video editing, maybe I should get one of LC's to do that 'time jump' trick for me

Just finished my LC-1 demo video! I originally had a clip-launching routine, but the video turned out really boring... So I scrapped it and went with a crazy, unorthodox idea instead. Most importantly, this is the first evidence of the CMDs' TIME JUMP capability!!

Oh ok right, and i believe with the lc-1, this wasnt the case - where there is an off state. Kind of a bummer and i dont see why they didnt implement it on everything but oh well, not a deal breaker.

As far as I can tell, on the DC-1 (and I assume the rest of the CMDs), there is no LED state with no light. The three states on the DC-1 are orange (default off state), blue, and blinking blue. I believe nem0nic has also confirmed this in the other mega thread.

Not sure if you got a chance to play with LED mapping, but can you confirm that theres a possible LED state where there is NO light on the pad/button at all?

Can you jump again and get me a PL-1 and MM-1? I'll pay it yesterday

The great thing about this controller is that if you fuck up a gig yo can just rewind and do it again.

Okay guys, the cat's out of the bag. The DC-1's special feature is, as was promised, the time jump capability. In fact, I've used the feature to travel into the future to obtain the DC-1 and make this video! Also, as an added benefit, I've been able to make A LOT more coffee and toast. :P

No HID hack, guys. I have no interest in trying to disrespect the work the guys over at NI have done.

He also confirmed that it wouldn't be a HID hack, sadly.

I haven't discovered any "special" features yet, but to be honest, I haven't had much time to dive in that deep. (Any suggestions on what to look for?) I've had a busy week mapping just the buttons, developing and practicing the routine, and filming and editing the video. (And now I've got another busy week ahead doing the same thing for the LC-1!). As you saw from the video, I didn't even touch/map the knobs or browser section...

Exactly. DJTT "hacked" the remix decks (but even so, you still have to buy DJTT's product to access them), and that's because of their special relationship with NI... They frequently promote and sell NI products, and I presume also get a cut of the profits.

No way are Behringer going to implement a HID hack, it'd piss off NI too much and ruin their relationship. DJTT can only do it because they are tiny and they have an unusual relationship with NI thanks to Ean Golden.
