Mapping for Maschine Controller only
Posted on: 18.01.2011 by Mammie Ninke
So a friend put the S4 sofware on my computer but I don't have the S4 controller, so I'm creating a mapping for my Maschine controller.

Had a question about what the modifier "slot state" does. It has options of 0-4. 0 = No sample in slot, 1 = Slot stopped with sample, 2 = Sample playing in slot.

Does anyone know what 3 and 4 do?

Also I got the combination to get the drag down effect, where you copy a loop from a running deck into a sample slot.

Here's an excerpt from an email i sent to Ean:

"
I just now figured I needed three modifiers. one for loading, playback, and mute. The load mod is on button/direct. The playback (slot start/stop), and the mute are on button/toggle and are inverted, Also I needed the button I was using to do all three to be on gate.

So now one button does all three like the S4 and I can turn on and off each function independently."

Dude,

If you're going to tell people what they can and can't do, that's fine - but at least do them the courtesy of making sure you know what you're talking about before you speak.
Willrjmarshall, I believe Karlos does know what he is talking about. He's actually a Mod on the NI site for the DJ area.

OP sorry, but this thread is closed now. Borrowed/Pirated/Stolen software is not supported on DJTT.

It "losely' means that you are using software that you dont own.

His use of this software is not fine. It is in breach of the owners software agreement.

If expressing a view about copyright based on the facts regardless of perspective is considered "jumping down throats" then yeah, fine. Seems like a rather childish attitude though.

DJTTs, as a matter of course, does not support people using software that they have no right to use.

Please spare me the legal mumbo jumbo a its irrelevant in this case.
Users are not permitted to share their software or registration numbers which, this member must be doing to have S4 software activated on his machine.

I'm guessing 3,4 are Loop Playing and Loop Not Playing. I believe it differentiates between samples and loops?
