Posted on: 27.01.2011 by Mandy Lupone
Oki, im picking up my S4 tomorrow, and my question is, should i use the jack to phono or phono to phono when i connect to the mixer in the club? feks a djm 800 mixer...

What gives me the best sound or is there any difference at all??

Cheers!

To help alleviate confusion and a little education, those output connections are called Unbalanced RCA (phono) and Balanced TRS or 1/4" (jack).

Either of the main outs will work.

i mean the phono out on the s4 or the jack to phono, from the s4 to the cd 1/2 or line house mixer?

You shuld not use the phono jacket. The phono its for turntables. You shuld use the Line or CD on the djm-800 mixer to connect your S4.
