S4 with 32bit win7 and registration question Posted on: 06.02.2011 by Lang Abriel So, I've been rebuilding my laptop to use with the s4 that I got in yesterday. The problem is I can't find any drivers for my sony vaio vgn-fz190 for 64 bit versions of windows. The video drivers only work with 32 bit for some reasonWill this affect my performance? Any other tips configuring this laptop will be appreciated. I followed most of the guide stickied in this community . The other thing, if I install the s4 software and then have to reformat the laptop, the second time I install will count as the second install for the s4 software? Thanks in advance | |

Boyce Engbrecht 05.02.2011 | so if I am dual booting with vista and xp and have it installed on both is that two installations or one because it's on the same machine? Am i right in saying that to deregister an installation you just uninstall and then run the service center? |
Lang Abriel 05.02.2011 | Thanks Karlos....your the man with the answers, I was hoping that they had the licensing set up like that....Also good to know that I will get no advantage aside from possible memory usage by using 64 bit. |
nayit ruiz jaramillo 06.02.2011 | There are no 64 bit drivers cus Traktor is 32bit. S4 runs fine on 64bit machines. the second installation will still only count as one as its the same machine. You can install/uninstall/install as many times as you like as long as its only on 2 machines at once. hope that helps |
