Setting up an S4 FAQ?
Setting up an S4 FAQ? Posted on: 06.03.2011 by Len Lukawski Been seeing an awful lot of the same questions about the S4 cropping up time and time again. Have also been seeing conflicting answers from numerous users. Would the S4 Grandmasters on this board be up for participating in an FAQ? I might even suggest we use a Wordpress site or something so that resulting responses and additional questions don't clog up the thread. I believe this will help people looking for help find answers more easily and enable the board to be a little less of a proxy tech/sales support area. Thoughts? SmiTTTen | |

Charline Dye 06.03.2011 | Rainer usually puts a teaser(section of the book) or two out for free on the site, but not sure if he'll cover the basics or something more advanced. Especially since he already has S4 info on the site now. It'll probably be Pro2 sections now that I believe about it. (old guy believeing out loud) Anyway, If we do a FAQ, we should just have one person compile it and make a sticky in this community with the ability to post in it disabled. That way after reading the FAQ if they still need help they can post a thread. No matter what you do, there will always be newb questions in the community , and in the wrong sub community 1/2 the time, but that's ok. We were all newbs once or twice. Traktor Kontrol S4 FAQ 1. Did you search the entire manual for the answer to your question first? If your answer is no, then RTFM If your answer is yes then continue to part 2 2. Did you use the search function for the S4 or Mapping sub community s on DJTT, the S4 and Traktor Forums at NI, and the DJTT Blog? If your answer is no, then get to searching. If your answer is yes then continue to part 3 3. Have you bought the Traktor Bible? If your answer is no, the go to thetraktorbible.com, check out all the usefull info, mappings, etc. Then buy it and read it. If your answer is yes then continue to part 4 4. By now you are an expert so start answering some newbies questions on the community , and be nice |
Len Lukawski 06.03.2011 | I agree it's an amazing resource but I am not sure it's going to be the answer. |
Leeanna Ayla 06.03.2011 | pretty soon the generic answer will be http://www.traktorbible.com/en/traktorbible.aspx |
Lin Danek 06.03.2011 | Pleeeeeeeeeeeeezzz |
Franklin Momany 06.03.2011 | Agreed. The more references the better. |
