Problem with Gater Effect discovered during show.... HELP!? Posted on: 20.03.2011 by Scottie Easler Hey everyone, Last evening was my first show using my S4... I've had it for a while, but weekly performances are just now starting up for me. While I was playing... I went to use the gater effect. I was using the 2 decks + 2 sample decks setup, and I had my A and B decks set to use the effects from both 1 and 2. Ran into the following problem: When I selected gater from my FX list, it automatically turned on and was maxed on all parameters of the effect... basically ULTRA-gatering my current song. Luckily... it didn't sound too terrible... but I can't ever remember the effect doing this in the past when runnin through sets. Is this a setting that I somehow turned on or off? -George | |

| Scottie Easler 20.03.2011 | Fast response and answer to my own question... fixed it myself... didn't notice the little floppy disk next to the FX board 1... i now know what it does... saves the effect. Good to know |
