S4 clip light stuck on?
S4 clip light stuck on? Posted on: 22.03.2011 by Neville Blackinton Aloha DJTT!Ok so this is a minor problem, well more an annoyance than a problem really. When I boot up Traktor one of the clip meters does not reset. The odd thing is that it's the left meter on Traktor and the right meter on my S4. All I do to reset it is turn up the master volume till a song clips and it goes away. Also the light goes away when I shut down Traktor (and hadn't reset the clip meter via volume) I have a feeling that this will be corrected in TPro2, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this? (Win7 64bit btw) And I thought I would be a good user and send in a bug report to NI. And the reply I got gave me a huge list of stuff to try which had nothing to do with my problem. I had already read the tweaking of Win7 for Traktor and had disabled a lot of the power saving features and what not, but damn NI! Seriously? One of the suggestions was to disable my network card. Yeah my network card is causing my clip meter to not reset... *sigh* Does NI honestly believe that doing those steps really solves the problem? Has anyone experienced a case where these steps helped? I guess I'm just annoyed that I got the canned response for what is obviously a GUI bug within Traktor. I really don't even want to bother with troubleshooting now. I can't shake the "what's the point" feeling after reading NI's standard support reply and hoping that it's fixed in TP2. Anyways just needed to vent a little. Thanks for reading my rant | |
