NI: Kontrol X1 or Midi Fighter?
Posted on: 21.03.2011 by Tanesha Kellert
Alright people, as per the title really....
EDIT: Meant x1 not s4!

Looking for something to compliment the S4 (for FX/Juggling)

Anyone with either care to shed light on the pros/cons?

Bless ya's

Depends on the controls.

Really? If you can still do the superknob then it's not a problem!

May just wait til the Custom MF are back in and save up, decisions decisions!

Thanks again guys

yeh you can add extra controls yourself and save a buttload of money if you believe you're up to it.

I thought I read that they could be customised too but couldn't find it when looking the other day!

That maybe the way to go as just got my car insurance renewal through

Yeah assume they would need new firmware because of the new controls, just seems a tad steep haha

Thanks for sorting out me title BTW! Makes the edit look a bit silly now but ne'er mind!

Custom MIDIfighters have added controls and therefore might have some altered firmware?

Otherwise it would just be added controls and casing materials.

Thanks doods, Would love to buy both but space and car insurance is getting in the way

Am more into the FX but like the idea of the arcade buttons, are they as good as they seem?!
Sure they are!

Sometimes I forget about modding a MF. That's maybe the best choice for one single controller.

Noice one big guy.
Am leaning more towards a MidiFighter to be honest! May just get one with a couple of pots and a slider, best of both worlds!

Thanks again.
