Crane Stand with S4

Crane Stand with S4
Posted on: 02.04.2011 by Lin Danek
Placing order with DJTT for S4 bag and believeing of adding Crane stand to basket - DOES IT FIT UNDERNEATH THE S4 - i.e. BETWEEN THE S4 AND A SHELF PLACED ON A KEYBOARD STAND?
Thank you.

Thanks mate.
Endorsed by Mac. Just use suction - they come with an adhesive disc to apply if necessary. Push on - peel off. Come in 2 sizes, so I actually use my
X1 tilted at a slight angle - you can really mash it then. The laptop tripod is so cool - I have moved my laptop whilst playing (to get a better view ). I have a shelf on the keyboard stand so that the S4 and X1 sit next to one another. I'll post the full setup in the 'Show Your Setup' thread.

Don't know if that could be a deal breaker, but I personally use it for the laptop, and not the controller. Took some pics to give you a better idea

Lovely set-up S121 - thank you. I've had another idea - I will post in a couple of days.

You would need to raise the S4 (4 rubber feet will do it) a little bit to make it fit.

However, then you have a stand directly above your controller. This is a suboptimal setup: as it is directly between you and the audience.

Put the stand to the side so your laptop is in your peripheral vision instead.
Good point. Trying to optimize my 'home' set-up, a gig IS different. Apropos rubber feet - check out 'Cool Feet' by Blue Lounge - amazing product. They bring an X1 up to console height.

I don't own a Crane, but that's my gut feeling.
I believe you are right loop - Crane stands are not available in SA - so I believe I need someone has (tried) this set-up.

Thanks PJ.

I've been known to use my APC40 on a (Crane) stand at small outdoor parties where the booth is too low (sore backs suck). It's heavier than the S4, but I don't have any issues with bounce or similar.
