Midi Controller for Prodution & DJing

I find myself DJing quite often, and I usually use just my laptop. For software I use either Mixxx, or VDJ Home edition.

I just purchased Logic, and will be purchasing either VDJ or Traktor soon as well.

I would like to get a midi controller that will control logic, but at the same time I can also program to use Traktor or VDJ.

Sound card isn't important, as I am getting an Apogee soundcard that will work.

Any thoughts, advice, or opinions?

the X1 from traktor isn't too bad. its kinda expensive for what you get out of it as it is kind of a smaller controller but its cool to add on to a set up and its nice because its completely midi mappable so for instance i run serato and use it to control abelton effects while im mixing. and since your believeing about using traktor anyways it comes pre mapped for traktor which is kinda nice
