Rosina Steinkuehler 21.07.2011 | Mapping the S4 can be a mixed bag it seems. In order to do the mapping you will want to add a Traktor S4 user mapping. Click on settings, controller editor, add (not add in) -> traktor -> kontrol s4 -> user. Now here's the kicker. You cannot easily override the default knobs without removing the default mapping. However if you do this you are going to have to remap everything! Also you will loose HID support which means that the loop counter on the S4 will not work in addition to the high resolution jogs. The jogs will work just not as "snappy". What I did was use this mapping: http://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/m...ew.aspx?id=192 and then crank up the jogs sensitivity in the controller manager. This resulted in me loosing the LED readout of the loop size but it's not a big deal to look at the laptop for that in my case. Hope this helps ! |
Sharyn Prado 21.07.2011 | I'm wanting to re map the default settings to change the use of the gains to filters, and also to map deck d samples to triggers for one shot hits |
Kecia Wnukowski 21.07.2011 | Could you be more precise please? Why don't you use the embedded mapping? What exactly do you want to do? A user mapping, a midi mapping, what? |
