Posted on: 26.07.2011 by Kathaleen Rannebarger
So i just bought the new 13" MBP, i have a 15" but i dont want to use it on gigs since i got like EVERYTHING on there.. dont want to break it and i dont want to risk traktor to shut down!

So .. Do you believe this MBP will do the trick? or will it lagg and stuff?

thx,

Only thing that would make me more confi when djing in a enviroment with lots of base. Is a SSD disk, Durability is a bit better. Thinking of having two hd's with the swap method found here=)

edit: Hey that would be almost having two mercs on the road at the same time:P

It should run fine. However, with DJing and studio work, I always have a computer that is dedicated to that task and NOTHING else. It is just too frustrating, and too easy to have another machine for personal/leisure use.

I use the same machine that has all my info and work with on a daily basis to mix. 0 issues.

lol not to be a fanboy but MBP are about as good as you can get for mobile djing.

Sorry I just believe it's funny how often you hear people asking if mac's will be able to do the job when they probably do the best job :P
