What equipment is recommended to use the S4 live? Posted on: 07.08.2011 by Dottie Shaub Current setup: S4, 64bit laptop 6gb ram core i7, 2 speakers, sub woofer. I recently got the S4 and I'd like to know what I should acquire if I plan on playing live. I'm a total n00b when it comes to cabling and speakers, so what sort of things do I need to connect to a sound system at a bar or club? All I want to do is dj using the kontrol and my laptop. If I'm expected to bring my own speakers then that is a whole different discussion. Ideally, I'd like something that provides a buffer so I don't blow out any speakers , and has a nice clean sound. I don't have a set price range but I'm a college student so keep it reasonable. Please hold back the urge to criticize my noobish ways. Cheers | |

Harley Zitka 07.08.2011 | You should take a RCA cable, a 1/4" cable, and a set of 1/4" to XLR adapters. That will allow you to connect to any club system. |
