Browser button sticking/not responding Posted on: 30.03.2011 by Mariano Godina Hi all,Lately the browser button in the middle of my S4 has been not responding. I had to really press it in hard to open and close the browser. Just wondered if anyone had any advice or had a similar problem? Thanks, Tom | |

Julietta Mistretta 08.08.2011 | I hate to bump an old thread, but I'm now having this issue with the Loop record buttons, specifically the Size button that I use for a superknob assignment. Did the canned air work for you? I'm currently waiting on response from Guitar Center on how difficult it would be to replace as I purchased a warranty from the local shop, but I can't have any downtime with a few busy weeks ahead of me. Any other ideas? Thanks, |
Mariano Godina 30.03.2011 | Cheers dude I'll give that a go - spray some air in there. Fingers crossed! |
Marylyn Vine 30.03.2011 | Tom, I believe the "Browse" button is the same as FX assign buttons which are of very low quality. If you remember, my first S4 had a problem with one of those, so I had to replace it. Now with my replacement unit, I'm again having the same exact problem with a couple of those buttons. I tried everything one could believe of including compressed air, but there seems to be no easy way to fix it without actually replacing the button or the whole controller This is what I meant when I was complaining about the poor build quality of S4 and almost no one on these community s would agree with me at the time. Nevertheless, I've dealt with many different hardware in the past and I knew these problems would start popping up sooner or later. I've given up on it, but if you want a fix then just ask NI for replacement. |
Leeanna Ayla 30.03.2011 | Sounds like something might be in there. You can maybe try to spray some canned air in there. Other than that contact NI support. |
